Lalahon is the goddess of volcanoes. She resides at Mount Kanlaon - the largest active volcano in the Visayas region. Lalahon is breathtakingly beautiful, but prone to bouts of calamitous anger and unspeakable cruelty. Nonetheless, she was beloved by her people - who venerated her with lavish harvest festivals full of worship and sacrifice. A common practice of Kanlaon's followers was to spill their finest "Tuba" (coconut wine) onto the earth so their exalted goddess could taste the bounty of her people.
