The darkness looked at her perplexed. The darkness, outlined by a stern line of hoods, was annoyed. Darkness poured around her avoiding the weightless haze of colors from the Outer World painstakingly pressed into a sheet by a small hand. The drawing of cheap pencils gleam pure light, cut through the surrounding grayness…breaking past the darkness of the robes. “Where did she get the pencils?”, grumbled the darkness of He Who Can Ask. “Who?” “We were in a kindergarten yesterday, - the direct hit of a shell…” whispered the darkness of He Who Can Answer. “Sorry Sir, we hadn’t checked everything. We are ready to be punished.” Thick blackness gripped each of those who gathered, tightening, smothering…then retreated. “Let her....
