I am grateful because you chose to stay. When I was falling and I didn’t seem to hit the ground, you waited there to pick me up. When I was drowning in my own sadness, you came to rescue me. For all the things I’ve been through and only you know. And for reminding me that ends are beginnings too.
This is a love letter to self.
MXSES translates into body liberation. I want to reflect the importance of self-love in a world that taught us not to do so. Is based in a personal experience, where I was never satisfied with my self-image, before rationalising that is society who will never be. Its expectations are an unrealistic established illusion and most of the time impossible. A muse is our inner self, a self that might have taken us some time to accept. A muse is beautiful in her distinctive manner. A muse is FREE.
