After a long and grueling fight, Ulver Grimesal finds himself in unfathomable trouble. Broken and captured, Ulver Grimesal, find himself before the cult of the Moriu.

The Moriu are a dark and twisted cult that believe that pain is the purest form of ecstasy. They believe that by inflicting pain on others, they can attain a higher level of understanding and connection with the universe. Ulver is taken captive by the cult and subjected to their twisted rituals. He is tortured and made to suffer in ways that he never thought possible. The cult members take great delight in his pain and suffering.

Seeking information on secrets his aristocratic family might hold, the cult members torture Ulver in an attempt to get him to reveal any information he may know about his family's secrets. However, Ulver is able to withstand the pain and suffering, and he does not reveal anything to the cult.

The cult eventually tires of torturing Ulver and decides to kill him. They take him out into the forest and preparations are made to sacrifice him to their dark god. Ulver is tied to a tree and left to await his fate. As the cult members prepare for the sacrifice, Ulver is able to escape. He fled into the forest and was able to evade the cult members who were in pursuit. Hoping to find his brothers, and bring an end to this sick, and twisted cult.
