Resistance Monument tells the story of the Khor Fakkan people’s epic heroism. The monument honors those who resisted the Portuguese invasion in 1507 in defending their city. Standing tall and proud at the peak of a mountain, the monument with its curved geometric design can be seen from several points throughout the city.
