This shoe is inspired by one of my favourite Indian snack, samosa. A samosa is a South Asian fried or baked pastry with a savory filling like spiced potatoes, onions, peas, chicken, and other meats, or lentils. It may take different forms, including triangular, cone, or half-moon shapes, depending on the region. Samosas are often accompanied by chutney, and have origins in medieval times or earlier.

The best part of a samosa are its crispy edges. I can just eat them non-stop. One my evening childhood memories is waiting for my dad to come home and surprise us with some food. There used to be days when he would bring samosas and boy they used to be good. I loved my dad just a little more for that.
