This is Rainbow Lorikeet. The Rainbow Lorikeet is unmistakable with its bright red beak and colourful plumage. They occur in coastal regions across northern and eastern Australia, with a local population in Perth (Western Australia). These are mostly found in a wide range of treed habitats including rainforest and woodlands.
Major threats to these little Lorikeets are loss of breeding sites and food resources from ongoing land clearing. A most breeding records come from the Western Australia, where there has been extensive loss of the woodland habitat of the species due to historic land clearing. Although, Rainbow Lorikeet isn't listed as as endangered by IUCN, but their population is decreasing gradually, it's really important to take conservative measures to make sure, these beautiful birds are not lost from the planet Earth, forever!
Hello I'm Shriyash. I'm 19 y/o self-taught 3D visual artist and photographer from the**'Wine capital Of India'-Nashik,India**. I try to depict my emotions, dreams, my endless love for mother nature through my art.My art is mostly inspired by who I'm as a person and what I see around me. #WHAT IS 'RARIFIED'? 'RARIFIED' is a collection of 10 3D abstract minimal birds, that have actually gone rare in real world today/either they are on the brink of extinction.Through each piece of the art my attempt is to show how beautifull these nature's creations are. the notion behind every artwork is to raise awareness for conservation of the endangered species.
Each bird in this collection is unique in itself and depicts the beauteousness,of the nature. All the pieces are handcrafted with love and care by Shriyash. It's my humble attempt to raise awareness for conservation of these beautiful creatures in most simple and subtle way through my art. (1/1)
