This is it. It's probably time to abandon this expedition and leave this entire galaxy. We've been forcefully dragged into the depths of this planet now. Something tells me this planet itself has turned hostile against us. We were not ready for the mainframe. It has been unleashed and we have no clue to what extent its powers stretch. 2 field personnel have been found dead under mysterious circumstances, they were assigned a physical breakthrough into the mainframe. The decapitation death of both is a lot closer to disintegration. Both personnel were found submerged in the depths of a water deposit in the proximity. For the first time in a millennium, our species has experienced fear. And we aren't ready.
It's been a while since we landed here on this planet. A decent chunk of this time was spent developing vaccines and other modes of artificial immunity for the numerous species of new viruses and microorganisms that exist on this planet. We've now decided to take some time to unwind. Unfortunately, we still cannot take off our protective headgear, for fear of said microorganisms. We still haven't had the time to properly test out the outcome of unaided exploration to take such risks. However, we hope to make that happen as soon as possible.
