'Extra-Dimensional Entity 01' By Tim Molloy
The Extra-Dimensional Entities are making ever more frequent trips across The Liminality to speak their words of wisdom in the ancient Dream-Tongue. For those Oneironauts lucky enough to commune with them, the experience is always baffling.
Bio: Tim Molloy makes ridiculous, apocalyptic, psychedelic art mostly in the form of surrealist comic books and paintings in both traditional and digital mediums.
His work is an ever expanding and interconnected web of dreamlike and nightmarish storylines and images soaked heavily in delusion, confusion and a general sense of unease. He draws heavily on surrealist techniques, symbolist ideas, synchronicity and dreams. Recurring themes include (but are not exclusive to) death, rebirth, the nature and expansion of consciousness, self-destruction and discovery. There is a kind of pre-apocalyptic tension throughout, balanced with a sense of humor that stops it all from getting too serious. He recently birthed 'The Toddlerpillars' NFT PFP project with his partner Jon Beinart. Tim is originally from New Zealand, but now resides in Melbourne, Australia.
Superchief Gallery is the world's 1st physical dedicated NFT gallery space. Since we opened our first digital art gallery in Soho back in 2016, Superchief has held the belief that digital-native artwork was an essential art form to include as part of the larger art movement of our era. We have had been running our version of a traditional art gallery space since 2012 and by 2016 we knew well that there wasn't a clear way to monetize digital artwork. But we felt strongly that just because we couldn't sell it at the present time, didn’t mean it should be kept apart from the art community at large. These are artists we feel are brilliant and exciting, and should be part of the cultural exchange.
