I made this for the beautiful and amazing @sarahfox_health_herbs_movement It was inspired by a sacred symbol very close to her heart.
Each work in the mandala series begins as photographs of nature. Leaves, flowers, fruits, seashells and whatever else captures my imagination in the outdoors. I cut out each element in Photoshop and arrange and edit each composition until I am satisfied with my vision.
This is a mindful and meditative practice for me and I hope that this comes through in the work.
