"A dry land, in contrast with the previous Jungle, all with sand, cactus and deadly turrets firing around and magma under some parts of the grounds... We feel that hell is not far, and Demeter is determined to reach it before Persephone arrives at the gates of Hell."
Persephone is a turn-based 2D isometric puzzle game that explores the next possibility : What if death in video games is not the end, but the key to solving the levels? Where, how and when will you choose to die in order to progress?
The whole visual, graphics and animations of this game, Persephone, as well as the game design has been made by me, and I am proud to share these with you now, and give you a part of it in this collection of short stories around the lore of the game.
The story in short
"Persephone is in love with Hades, and he is in love with her too. I know, it’s not what you knew about their story, but in this version, they genuinely are in love and decided to have some good times in Hell. But Demeter, the mother of Persephone, is not happy about that and decides to stop Persephone from dating Hades by breaking his realm and kidnap him. "
