My flower series "The petals are like dots & Hybrid Bouquet" is inspired by a bouquet where flowers gathered from different places are in full bloom. It connects with the society where we live with people who have many different cultural diversity and also reflects my daily life as an immigrant.​ ​In addition, the flowers are in full bloom with their roots cut off. They desperately survive the last moment. How to die. How to live. The flowers tell me.

'하이브리드 부케'시리즈는 모두 다른 곳에서 모인 꽃들이 부케를 이루며 만개해 있는 모습이 이민자로서 다양한 문화가 섞여 있는 작가의 일상과 현대 사회의 모습과 이어져 있는 생각에서 출발한 작업이다. 또한 꽃들은 뿌리가 잘린 채로 활짝 펴있다. 간절하게 치열하게 마지막 순간을 살아낸다. 어떻게 죽을 것인가. 어떻게 살 것인가. 꽃들은 해답을 알고 있다.
