During my immigration life, I celebrated Christmas three times. The first Christmas was busy absorbing the new French holiday culture different from Korea. The second Christmas was quietly spent like fog due to the virus. On the third Christmas of this year, I adapted little by little to the country of France and naturally digested Christmas in my own way with those three Christmas trees. I don't follow the culture vaguely. Interpreting and enjoying in my own way is accepting the real culture. And it is also the beginning of another new and fun culture.

이민생활을 하는 동안 3번의 성탄절을 맞았다. 첫번째의 성탄절은 한국과 다른 새로운 프랑스의 명절 문화를 흡수하는 데에 바빴다. 두번째 성탄절은 바이러스로 인해 고요하게 안개처럼 조용하게 보냈다. 그리고 맞이하는 올해 세번째 크리스마스는 프랑스라는 나라에 조금씩 적응하고 성탄절을 수용하는 것이 아닌 포용하는 날들로 만들어가고 있다. 세번의 노엘 문화를 겪으며, 문화는 수동적으로 막연하게 따라가는 것이 아니라, 내 방식으로 해석하고 즐기는 것이 진짜 문화를 받아드리는 것이라는 생각이 들었다. 그리고 그것은 또 다른 새롭고 재미있는 문화의 시작 이기도 하다.
