I’ve lived in Florida my whole life. I love this state’s diversity, hues, culture, people, and landscapes. In between photography and videography jobs I often found myself pulling over to the side of some Florida back road to snap a picture of a quiet place you won’t find in a travel brochure. As I made these stops I found that Florida’s blue skies, emerald waters, fragrant orange blossoms, and pink sunsets were captured best on film. Hence my Florida on Film project was born.

I’ve spent the last 3 years slowly compiling these images for what will be a series of Florida on Film photobooks. This project is very special to me as it has not only helped me grow as a photographer but has also helped me grow closer to my subject. It is my hope that this project will never end.

As I pursue this project I'll also be minting my favorite Florida on Film photos here. These images are a part of who I am as a Floridian and I hope you enjoy this collection as much as I have enjoyed creating it.
