This artwork is part of the "Summer of Max" collection, where I invited fans of Max to share with me their stories, interests, and aspirations—which I then used as inspiration for building Max's world.

This piece was inspired by the owner's miso fermentery, Kultured London. I created an "oak barrel" cartoon character based on the oak barrels in which the miso fermentation process takes place. In Max's world, an otter (inspired by the shop owner) is the miso maker, and his customer—Mac the macaroni penguin—is coming to pick up a new batch for his Italian restaurant, Mac's Trattoria.

The purchaser of this NFT will have full ownership of the "oak barrel" cartoon character—as well as the vector files of the various "icons" I created—for use for their business as long as they own the NFT. If the NFT is resold, only a royalty fee from the sale will be deducted, but there are no royalty fees associated with the use of this character.
