8 years ago, influenced by an article I read, I moved to Cambodia to start a soup kitchen in a small village just outside the capital, Phnom Penh. The first day we started delivering food, I saw a little girl sleeping on the floor. It was love at first sight, and I fell in love with this little girl instantly. I watched her take her first step, heard the first word she spoke. I put her to sleep with lullabies; I raised her for years. She has been living with me for the last 4 years, continuing our adoption process. We were separated from each other many times during this exhausting period. Our hearts were broken so much, and Çakıl's only dream became to live us together for good. We have a lawsuit on the 4th March, and I have a large amount to pay before and after the case.
