10 traditionally designed gates are existing in Yokohama Chinatown. Some of the gates are connected with a mythical symbol from the Asian legends. "Choyo-Mon" at the east side of Chinatown is also called "Seiryu-Mon" in Japanese. This name can be translated as "The Blue dragon Gate " in English. The Blue dragon "Seiryu" is a guardian which protects the east area of the district. This artwork is based on the ancient Chinese legend.
