Unlike the strong start, the bus ran hard for the first 4 hours and then made long stops every 30 minutes. It was probably because of the bad condition of the bus. In India, long-distance buses and trains are not always in good condition. I had no choice but to do that. All the passengers on the bus except me were Ladaki and Indians, except for the teenagers sitting on the roof of the bus, it was difficult to communicate in English. Thanks to this, I was able to memorize all the English lyrics of the album I listened to often. When we visited Pangongcho and Nubra Valley, we were able to get to know each other because there were shared jeep passengers, and we did not feel bored because we did not stop talking about our interests and each other's lives.

However, I was a little lonely because I could not speak other than basic communication with local passengers. I remembered my friends who would never leave Ladakh. They may have left for another city by now, or they may be enjoying a different way of traveling than India, perhaps via Hong Kong or Japan. Others would have returned to their daily lives as if nothing had happened.

I finally felt like I was traveling alone.
