Goddess of Spring #004/100, painted in Gustav Klimt’s style.
Klimt (1862-1918) was an Austrian symbolist/Art Nouveau painter who was famous for his murals and paintings that featured the female body, often in erotic situations. Obviously his work was met with significant criticism at the time.
In response, he painted Nuda Veritas (1899) featuring a quote that said “If you cannot please everyone with your deeds and your art, please only a few. To please many is bad.” - Friedrich von Schiller
This painting doesn’t include any erotic scenes but does reference his two most famous works: The Kiss and Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I.
It also features a woman of Indian descent and included the hibiscus flower and motifs of jasmine flowers which are native to India.
“Truth is like fire; to tell the truth means to glow and burn.” — Gustav Klimt
