I was at the notorious Fry Street Fair in 1995 in Denton, Texas. What is special about FSF is you get to listen to best local bands plus you get to sit in and have jam sessions with them on stage. There are still documentaries about it on Youtube. As a drummer, I practiced hard with my band and we were ready for FSF. There were all kinds of bands, rock, folk, even computer backed digital vibes back then. After our performance, I saw this group of teens getting ready to get on the stage and saw this Punk Boy, Randy, was having a haircut by his friends. They had their alcohol buzz too. My camera was with me all the time for documenting the whole Festival. Randy was eager to have his haircut finished while I was shooting them having fun. After the cut, we all jammed together with Randy's band "Grown Ups."

I always loved people, talking to strangers, and having conversations about anything, lovers, families.. at a coffeehouse, bar, street, anywhere. I saw no harm when you smile at anyone. A snap made these moments permanent.
My Black&White Portraits collection starts from 90's when I was a foreigner in the United States. I had so many intimate stories with the people I photographed. I shared some of the stories with you...
Total of 15 Photographs, Editions: 1/1, under CC0, 1 Photograph is added for transfer to a colleague, Photographed by Devrin Usta.
