#12 - KEEPING WATCH
The volcanic plug of Arnardrangur is one of the most stunningly set sea stacks I have ever photographed. While it would be spectacular on its own, what makes it truly inspiring for visual storytelling is its relationship with Reynisdrangar’s family of sea stacks in the distance. On this particular morning, they stood bathed in a heroic sunrise light, like a series of watchmen presiding over the coast, keeping watch.

ABOUT VOICES OF THE OCEAN
All my life, I felt a profound affinity with the sea. I always have been amazed by the magical way the ocean lives and breathes, by its powers and endless energy. The ocean feels to me like a living creature, benevolent and terrible at the same time, constantly at work shaping the landscape.
