Title: Missed Message
Artist: Brendan North
Edition: 1/1
To a passing stranger, you made my heart skip a beat. You turned the sidewalk into satin and my future less concrete.
Maybe you’re the one, I thought. Brought together by a force. I wondered if you’d see me, our steps were right on course.
I raised my hand to wave hello and hoped our eyes would meet. But the moment passed, my smile faded fast. I guess your phone makes you complete.
"Burning Thoughts" is the debut poetry collection from Brendan North. Think of this as a book, deconstructed into individual pieces and collectively owned by an exclusive community. This collection of poems was created very much in the spirit of NFTs. Every piece is completely unique. Hand typed on a 1933 typewriter, torn, stained with coffee, and burned in the real world; the physical pieces no longer exist. All that is left is the digital presence of these words. Each poem corresponds to a photograph in Brendan's "Painted Poetry" collection.
