Title: Youth
Artist: Brendan North
Edition: 1/1
Our youth is a fire that burns inside, a light that works to move and to guide. Our youth is a storm that often gets blamed, A powerful force that cannot be tamed.
Our youth is a freedom, to love and to live. We learn what it means to hurt and to give. Our youth is a force, like the moon and tide. Our youth is a fire that burns inside.
"Burning Thoughts" is the debut poetry collection from Brendan North. Think of this as a book, deconstructed into individual pieces and collectively owned by an exclusive community. This collection of poems was created very much in the spirit of NFTs. Every piece is completely unique. Hand typed on a 1933 typewriter, torn, stained with coffee, and burned in the real world; the physical pieces no longer exist. All that is left is the digital presence of these words. Each poem corresponds to a photograph in Brendan's "Painted Poetry" collection.
