Title: You're So Hollywood
Artist: Brendan North
Edition: 1/1
You tell me you love me, a powerful phrase. Most of its meaning now lost in the haze. You lie for attention, you’re playing the game. You say you don’t care about money or fame. You talk about names A little more than you should. It’s not your fault darling, you’re so Hollywood.
"Burning Thoughts" is the debut poetry collection from Brendan North. Think of this as a book, deconstructed into individual pieces and collectively owned by an exclusive community. This collection of poems was created very much in the spirit of NFTs. Every piece is completely unique. Hand typed on a 1933 typewriter, torn, stained with coffee, and burned in the real world; the physical pieces no longer exist. All that is left is the digital presence of these words. Each poem corresponds to a photograph in Brendan's "Painted Poetry" collection.
