Title: City of Angels
Artist: Brendan North
Edition: 1/1
Full of lies and cheating, you seldom stay true. You take hearts and break them like an actress; on cue. A land of dreams and dreamers, your visions await. Sunsets and secrets serve to sedate. A new girl arrives, her heart still whole. You offer her poison in exchange for her soul. And drink after drink, in fame she revels. A city of angels acting like devils.
"Burning Thoughts" is the debut poetry collection from Brendan North. Think of this as a book, deconstructed into individual pieces and collectively owned by an exclusive community. This collection of poems was created very much in the spirit of NFTs. Every piece is completely unique. Hand typed on a 1933 typewriter, torn, stained with coffee, and burned in the real world; the physical pieces no longer exist. All that is left is the digital presence of these words. Each poem corresponds to a photograph in Brendan's "Painted Poetry" collection.
