Title: Bite Me
Artist: Brendan North
Edition: 1/1
It’s a man’s world as they used to say. A woman had to act in a certain way. But old habits die hard as the youth take hold. A generation of girls, fearsome and bold. Men hold their tongues and have learned to tread lightly. If the respect isn’t equal, she’s learned when to say “Bite me.”
"Burning Thoughts" is the debut poetry collection from Brendan North. Think of this as a book, deconstructed into individual pieces and collectively owned by an exclusive community. This collection of poems was created very much in the spirit of NFTs. Every piece is completely unique. Hand typed on a 1933 typewriter, torn, stained with coffee, and burned in the real world; the physical pieces no longer exist. All that is left is the digital presence of these words. Each poem corresponds to a photograph in Brendan's "Painted Poetry" collection.
