Ruby T's was an iconic figure of the Toronto 1977 punk scene as immortalised on the cover photograph of The Last Pogo album cover. She was the lead singer of The Androids and later True Confessions. Girlfriend of singer Mike Nightmare (The Ugly); they both moved to Vancouver where Mike died under mysterious circumstances and Ruby was never heard from again. There is no information on her whereabouts and current conjecture includes speculation that she was murdered by bikers or is in fact, alive, and under witness protection. We may never know the answers but her wonderful beauty will shine forever. This photograph was taken at a concert at The Masonic Temple in Toronto, 1978. This colour image was created exclusively for this collection of my work from the original B/W negative.
