I captured this photo in the Yukon Territory of Canada in 2020. A friend and I were driving from Washington to Alaska during the beginning of the pandemic, and the photos I took on this trip remind me of the feeling of uncertainty we felt during that time. We didn't know if we'd be able to cross the border, and we were unable to explore as much as we wanted to during the trip due to restrictions. I captured this photo along the highway, and I love the scale I achieved by including the foreground in front of this large mountain.
