The morning behind 'Star Struck' of my ‘Stories of the Mountains. Photographed at Garibaldi lake, Canada.

P.s the sun star is real and I couldn’t of planned a more perfect morning. Was worth the 5am wake up after the 30km hike. I have a story to tell. 9am saw us driving 2 hours to start our hike to Panorama Ridge and Garibaldi lake. 30km, 11 hours, blistered feet, sweaty bodies and smiling faces was all part of the journey. With every step feeling heavier than the last we finally reached our camp destination at Garibaldi lake. We dropped most of our Bags, set up camp for later on and filled out day packs to set up to Panorama Ridge. We waited at the top until sunset and slowly but surely made our way back down to camp at Garibaldi Lake. None of my friends were eager when I set an alarm for sunrise. For 5am but I’m stubborn and there’s no way I was potentially going to miss a good sunrise. So at 5am sure enough I had second thoughts about getting out of my tent because I was bruised from my bag and so exhausted but I dragged myself and my camera out of my cozy sleeping bag. Made my way down the track with tired and puffy eyes. I look up past the trees and couldn’t start to see a warm glow and those tired eyes soon turned wide as my heart began to beat faster with the excitement of an epic sunrise. I ran down to the lake front to be treated with still waters and sun rays starting to spread. I couldn’t believe how incredibly still the lake was. I set up my tripod and waited for that first glimpse of sun, finger ready on the shutter to get the perfect sun star as it peeped over the mountains and through the trees.

Letting my camera soak up the rays and my body feel the warmth I’d suddenly forgot about how exhausted and sore I was because all that mattered was how peaceful I was in this moment. One of my greatest memories from my time in Canada

Stories of the Mountains collection image

"Stories of the Mountains" is a collection of 1/1 photographs of my most cherished moments in the mountains. My love for photography, snowy peaks and drastic mountain ranges is expressed through this collection. They have been captured from places all around the world and each one tells a unique and different story. You are getting to see the world through my eyes and I have always thought that’s what’s most special about someone else's photograph. A glimpse into someone else’s mind. I have created this collection so people can enjoy this wonders of the world we live in and appreciate there's a story behind every moment.
