An accidental stumble into a world I didn't know existed. Living in Canada at the time my friend suggested a USA road trip and I quickly accepted not knowing what was in store. I was merely a passenger to a plan already organised.

YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK: One of the greatest NP in the world but one I had never heard of. As a photographer we scout and research places we want to visit, so not much is a surprise these days. This for me was though, Id barely heard of Yosemite let alone researched anything about it. So driving through the hills and windy roads to reach the entrance I was in awe. It was like being a kid again and seeing the world for the first time, where everything is new and exciting and you don't quite know what to expect.

Arriving for sunrise and not knowing where the sun would pop up or the best place to stand, I was left just waiting and embracing these magical views taking in the magnitude of this incredible planet. The sun started to peak behind El Capitan and as the rays filled my camera so did they my body.
