Landscape photography is all about the journey, the physical effort it takes. The nights spent in the cold with just you and your camera, the hikes with heavy gear strapped to your back, the long car rides spent talking with your friends. So its nice to think that behind every image I take there's a story to go with, some probably chilled, some a had to be there moment, some a life changing experience and for sure some a near death experience. This one was 3 days. 30km, sore backs from heavy camping packs filled with every piece of camera gear I own, blistered feet, sweaty faces, tired legs but a true weekend I'd never forget. All of this to get to a secluded place and enjoy it with friends. We sat and watch the sunset saying goodbye to the sun one more time and before it fully set I captured this last glow and all the moments it took me to get here
