'30 days in Mexico' is a collection of 30 1/1 analog images taken while exploring the lesser known corners of Mexico. These photos are a portrayal of the Mexican culture, the people that are a part of it, the cars they drive and the streets they live in.
With this project, I wanted to capture the raw side of Mexico. I walked around plenty of villages in search of uniqueness. I visited some dangerous neighbourhoods such as Tepito in Mexico City where I got escorted out by the police because they didn’t want me to be there.
I wasn’t looking for easy things to photograph. I wanted to push my boundaries, get out of my comfort zone and come back home with images that really represents Mexico in all it’s colours.
