The nightingale in this piece takes a final look at the cage before flying off into freedom. Let this little bird remind us to sing our own song and to be free.

Delft Blue Birds collection image

The Delft Blue collection contains 1/1 hand-drawn pieces inspired by the Delft Blue pottery. The famous white and blue porcelain originates from the city of Delft in the Netherlands, where it has been produced since the 17th century. Many people will know it from the typical Dutch Souvenirs.

The Delft Blue pottery brings me back to my late grandmother's home. She had traditional Delft blue tiles in her kitchen and some Delft blue vases in her living room. She was also an artist, making beautiful wall hangings. This collection is a tribute to her.

These pixelated artworks were hand made on MS Paint. If you collected a piece and you wish to display it in a larger size that requires a higher resolution, please do not hesitate to contact me via twitter, and I will be happy to send you the required file.

The artworks in this collection are authentic and created by dodsicle; the purchase of the NFT is a purchase of the asset, not of the copyright.
