010 - Tears and Tragedy really tells the sad story of the plight of the critically endangered Sumatran elephant. Their numbers are declining and literally every week there is another tragic case of an elephant that has no choice but to be in conflict with humans as our species continues to populate every corner of the world. This piece is up for auction and the proceeds will go back into helping continue this project to bring further awareness to the plight of these amazing creatures.
A very personal photography project documenting the last of the remaining Sumatran elephants both in the wild and in captivity throughout the island of Sumatra, Indonesia. The documentary photographs are a direct record of life for the elephants of Sumatra being critically endangered with as few as 1000 remaining. This photography series will help bring to light the need to work to save these amazing animals and support through open sea and nft sales will help continue this much needed documentary series.
