The Cherry Blossom Festival in DC was back on the calendar after the lockdown of 2020. This time most people if not all had a mask on or on their person even though it was outdoors.

Where were you when you heard it announced that we were in a Pandemic? For me, it was March 2020. I was in a coffee shop in Pittsburgh installing my International Women's Day solo exhibition. Several months after canceling everything, I started to photograph my surroundings.
Signs of the Times(S0TT) is a literal and figurative visual indicator of what has happened around me during the Pandemic. Touching on health care, the BLM movement to Brood X of 2021. Some of the titles are words/phrases frequently used during the height of this period. I intend for these to be preserved while paring them with images from my gaze. Collectors of these pieces are the custodians of moments, preserved forever in the NFT Space.
This collection is in no way a depiction that the Pandemic is over. We have found ways to keep fighting to stay alive through science, ingenuity, and innovation. SOTT showcases the signs of the times we live in; the new normal and the indomitable human spirit!
