Story: This image was shot during Earth Hour, an hour every year where the entire city is asked to turn off their lights for 1 hour. This is one of the only times you'll ever seen the CN Tower with it's lights turned completely off, a pretty unique site you wouldn't usually see otherwise. I wanted to celebrate earth hour by climbing to the top of a skyscraper and photograph this incredible structure. So I made my way to the to this roof and made it up here right as earth hour was starting to capture this moment. The city was almost silent from up here and so peaceful. This image was also shown on the Toronto Times Square billboards for 6 months during our pandemic, the longest any photographer has had their image up here in history because no one else was advertising then. Just my image with the phrase Stay Safe Stay Home, I know this image and moment will go down in history and now you are a part of it whoever collects this.
