Designed digitally, replicated in oils, then redigitized. Inspired by American Rapper/Singer Missy Elliott, who has always brought a unique and visionary feel to her music production and video clips, in collaboration with producer Timbaland and Art director Hype Williams. Her work is one of the drivers of Afro-Futurism and I imagined her as an alien music-making robot. Created for my exhibition 'Salon of Curiosities' in Sydney, Australia.
