The Ramayana ballet is a combination of dance performances and drama performances without dialogue, this dance is lifted from the Ramayana puppet story. The Ramayana ballet was first staged in 1961 at Prambanan Temple every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. the performance is very artistic because it is on an open stage with a panoramic view of the Prambanan temple.
