The pure concept of colonized space travel is the most mind-melting move in the history of humanity. It's bigger than melting minds... it's Melting Mountains. This technicolor fantasy piece tells of a future love story. Dinner on Mars? Why not? Nothing is impossible when the sky's the limit.
The soundtrack to this edition is my original composition titled, "Waiting For The Moon". Each buyer of this edition will be sent a downloadable soundtrack from this piece.
In February of 2019, I discovered an art collector by the name of Yusaku Maezawa who funded a space mission / art project that makes use of a SpaceX Starship on a spaceflight flying around the Moon. I want to be one of the chosen 8 artists for the first ever citizen space travel.
I immediately began creating the art that you see here launched for the first time. In the process of researching Starship, I printed on the same material used to cover the actual Starship. I then sent the prototype to MZ (Maezawa) in Tokyo in an effort to make contact. I received an email from his assistant stating that MZ was rather pleased.
The inspiration for this art runs deep as I want to be on that spaceship as it travels farther than any human has from Earth. The window of imagination this trip opens through art will be felt for generations to come. Everything is possible when sky's the limit.
Each piece contains music composed by me.
At the end of this sale unsold editions will be burned.
