I’ve loved putting this collection together. The music & artists I write about have been companions for most of my life. Whether times are good or bad, happy or sad they have been there. Being chronically ill, my life is hard. I rarely leave the house & am often bed ridden in pain. Photography is my way out of that reality, it's my meditation. I can explore new worlds with flowers & create the calm I want in my life. This series focuses on my homegrown Irises.

I was recently asked about the most important lesson I have learnt in life so far. My answer is to always keep moving forward. There will always be hardships & challenges, that’s life, it’s how you react to them that makes the difference. Find beauty in everyday life & be grateful for what you have.
