Title: Dama
Dama is a lady who wants to break the stereotypes of the submissive woman in the 15th century Italy. She loves to feel beautiful, to put on makeup and choose clothes impeccably.
Inspired by Caravaggio style, this piece has been realised on a photographic level. The whole process was carried out manually. There is practically no post-production except for a micro correction of the colour temperature. I bought a mask and had it modified by a make-up artist to make her become more feminine. I rented the original costume from the year 1400 and used Caravaggio as inspiration in the photo shoot. This piece has been professionally photographed by myself.
