I forecasted this storm to be at the Grand Canyon in the morning before my daily run and timed the day's targets perfectly. My dad and I drove out to Valle, AZ for a bit until this storm moved away from Page, AZ near the Utah border. We headed up to the closest place along the South Rim we could find and set up my gear upon arrival. The storm survived the rim of the canyon and then started to dump rain and throw a ton of bolts. Each bolt I caught brought cheers from the crowd of people (including me) who probably should not have been there because hair was starting to stand up. Shared this moment with my dad and it made me feel like I was doing things right (and proving that I don't suck at storm chasing). When I saw this on my camera screen, I knew I had caught something rare and special. There is part of the bolt that looks like a duck!

I want to make my art more accessible to more collectors so I have minted edition photos which will be included in this collection. Happy gem hunting!
