Mykola Lysenko (b. 1842, Hrynky – d. 1912, Kyiv) Prominent Ukrainian composer, pianist, choral conductor, folklorist, teacher and public figure. Mykola Lysenko’s role in Ukrainian music can be compared to that of Taras Shevchenko in Ukrainian literature.
On February 22, 2022, Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. I stayed to live in Kyiv. The works in this collection are my feelings. Feelings of a peaceful person in war. War every day howls air raid sirens, thunders with explosions. BUT at the same time, the life of ordinary people continues. I plan to use part of the payment for the work for charity. To support Ukraine and Ukrainians.
