“We are not how we look; we are not the color or the clothes that we wear but we are spiritual beings having a human experience.” The current painting was first a one-line drawing in my sketchbook which manifested itself better with my digital pen. It’s showing one woman with different skin colors which is a metaphor of “the equality of all humankinds, whether black or white or any other color and that we are all one suchness. You can see the four elements of life in this piece: EARTH, AIR, FIRE, and WATER! Earth (her face) represents grounding, the foundation of life, substance, connection to life path...Air (her hat with the purple color) represents intellect, mental intention, and connection to universal life force the color purple has been chosen intentionally to show wisdom and peace. Fire (the light that goes through her) represents energy, a tool for transformation, connection to personal power, and inner strength. Water (her hair) represents emotional release, intuition, and inner reflection.
