Intense wave with so much power. Timing this image wasn't easy. Thought I was in the perfect spot but the wave grew bigger and bigger. At one point thought it was going to break on my head. Had to muscle my way out to get under the lip. What happened after was very scary. Wave pulled me back over ripped out my housing from my hand with a leash on. The anxiety when losing your gear worth tremendous money isn't a good feeling. Swam in and 30-35 yards down the beach in less than 5 minutes someone was yelling my name. Counted my blessings with this one. This image will forever have this story attached. Go big!!!
