Self Expression #3 | Edition of one
This NFT is dedicated to my sister. My sister has Huntington’s disease which is a rare, inherited disease that causes the progressive breakdown (degeneration) of nerve cells in the brain. There is unfortunately no cure for it.
I’ve watched my sister go from healthy, to struggling to walk, to being confined to a wheelchair and now she is bed ridden and needing 24 hour personal care.
The worst thing about this disease is that your brain is completely fine so therefore you can’t talk or move but you still understand everything.
I talk to her but she can’t talk back..
What I would give to be able to have a conversation with her..

"Self Expression" could represent different things for each and every one of us.
Finding a way to talk through my images.
Living in South Africa isn’t easy because it isn’t safe to walk around with a camera, I have so many images I want to create and so I decided to learn 3D and I picked up Blender. I watched tutorials and taught myself how to use this incredible software.
Instead of giving up, I decided that I will create these images no matter what and I hope that inspires you to believe in yourself and to never allow circumstances to stop you from creating whatever you want.
The thought that I can create whatever idea comes to mind is absolutely mind-blowing and i'm grateful to be able to have access to blender.
