"Duality" by Jessica Moore

My perfect day is one spent in the presence of the sheer power and overwhelming beauty of our atmosphere, where it is impossible to escape the notion of duality. The interplay of light and shadow, daylight and darkness, stillness and chaos, all coalesce to create a series of contradicting emotions. How can one be simultaneously so enamored by the magnificence of a storm, and fearful of it? One must fight their own instincts to run and flee the storm's wrath, and choose instead to remain in the presence of imminent danger and embrace it. For when one chooses to seek and find the light in the darkness that surrounds them, it is then that the mysterious beauty of the storm will be revealed. This is the duality of Mother Nature, and of our own human experience.

Bio: Jessica is a meteorologist and storm photographer of 11 years based out of Colorado, USA. She travels the Great Plains every spring and summer photographing the most dramatic and awe-inspiring storms on the planet. Her storm images have gained global recognition, and have been aired on most major national news networks. She is also a full time NFT artist as of the past 9 months and is passionately devoted to helping propel storm photography forward as a powerful niche of art that is often unrecognized.
