I created this Hedron with the idea in my head that I wanted to challenge the gatekeeping I do on myself in regards to cropping, clipping, and the process used to find the shot I like.
To get the positioning of the shapes a few effectors were used and an animation was created; I then stepped through each frame to find a shot that I liked, trying not to worry so much about clipping as I know in the back of my mind this is what I wanted to purposefully include. Which was a weird thing to feel.
I then set up a sub surface scattering texture for our green objects so you can see the light turning purple and bouncing around inside. To finish the piece a quick rearrangement of positions was undertaken and then the piece was thrown into photoshop for any finishing touches.
Design time: 1 hr 30 mins Render time: 4 Hours
