Carnotaurus was a large theropod predator that lived in what is now South America. It was 7.5-8m long (2.46-26.2 ft). Carnotaurus’s distinctive features include the horns above its eyes, and its comically small, vestigial arms. It was also covered in small bumps, which were recently discovered to have random distribution instead of being aligned in rows. It was one of the faster theropods, with an estimated run speed of 48-56km/h (30-35mph).
