I think of an awakening from years lost to shame. Of the graceful strength of knowing who you are and what you will become. I think of the power of that first moment of learning to stand tall within yourself, and all the beginnings that moment brings.

Collection Description: As a sufferer of a chronic illness, I've spent swaths of my life finding escape in fantasy books and series. Not wanting to deal with my own life I lost a bit of myself in this way. In this collection of 15 pieces, I attempt to use my love of fantasy to access the emotional wonderland that I have for so long ignored. To embrace each part of myself, good and bad, and give them a voice. Knowing that they exist not just within me, but within all of us.
